Aura paper (25)
DISEASES OF THE AURA
This is the last of the Cromlech Aura papers that I possess. It attempts to describe the subtle constitution of the human being with the same seriousness that medicine applies to the physical body. Instead of viewing the aura as a metaphor or vague colour field, it is considered a structured system with organs, functions, and possible disorders. The author assumes that the aura is a real, observable extension of the physical organism, and that disturbances within it may affect the mind and body.
The aura is described as a complex surface composed of sensitive points similar to nerve terminals. These points respond to stimuli from the external world and from brain activity.
The condition of this network determines how easily impulses pass between the physical organism and the subtler levels of consciousness.
The essay focuses on disturbances within this system, particularly a condition described as “flickering.” In modern language, this might be compared to instability within a network of nervous connections. When the normal flow of vital force becomes irregular, the sensitive points of the aura no longer respond in an ordered sequence, but flash sporadically and unpredictably. According to the theory presented here, such instability gradually produces physical fatigue and psychological restlessness.
A striking feature of the discussion is the attempt to relate subtle phenomena to analogies drawn from physiology. The way the aura behaves has been likened to nerve cell activity, electrical systems, and even skin inflammation. These comparisons were intended to provide students with a practical way of visualising processes that would otherwise remain abstract and difficult to grasp.
The author aims to be practical. The study of these conditions supports self-knowledge by teaching students to identify subtle disorder, practice awareness and restraint, and use healing methods effectively. The lesson is to identify hidden causes of behaviour and respond with patience, not judgement.
